Lindy was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on a very snowy Christmas Day in 1973. At age 8, Lindy’s family moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas. Graduating in 1992 from North Little Rock High School, she decided to try something new and different--a liberal arts college miles away from home called Valparaiso University. After graduating Valpo in 1996 with a BA in English and Secondary Education, Lindy made the long trek back home to NLR. She didn’t really know what she wanted to do with her life, so she dabbled a little here and a little there, then finally decided to attend graduate school at UALR. As she was working to put herself through school as a waitress, a dear friend gave her a break; he hired her to be a producer for a live radio show in Little Rock. While working on her thesis, Lindy became the producer for KARN’s Ray Lincoln Show and when Ray retired, moved into the position as “Lucky Lindy” on the Big Dave Show. Graduating with a Masters degree in Journalism in 2000, Lindy decided to give radio a break and moved into the advertising biz at Mangan Holcomb Partners. In January 2003, 103.7 The Buzz came a calling. She signed on as Marketing and Promotions Director and part-time on-air personality with Pat Lynch. Now, appearing regularly on the Buzz, Lindy in her Capricornian way, is solely dedicated to promoting and marketing the station. She currently resides in Park Hill (up in dogtown!) with her cocker spaniel Sebastian.
