The career of the latest member of the Buzz’s SHOW WITH NO NAME is on fire!! He recently received critical acclaim by the Arkansas media , members of the Little Rock Film Festival as well as Oscar winning actor Ray McKinnon and hollywood actress Joey Lauren Adams for his remarkable performance as Blundale in the award winning short movie Antiquities.
His addition to the morning show has also brought a new spark to the Legend & The Linebacker, with a variety of talents including amazing impersonations and a comedic wit and timing that have Buzz listeners crying with laughter in their cars, homes and at work. From Arnold Schwarzenneger, Dean Martin, and Ray Charles to local favorites Wrestlin Man, Ty and Brother Father Mathias, Roger Scott grabs your attention on the air or at a remote and doesn’t let go. This talent has led to regular guest appearance on national radio talk shows, stand up routines at comedy clubs, and television host roles.
If that was not enough Roger has recently transformed his body from soft and pudgy to a lean mean rock formation physique confusing many Arkansans into trying to climb his bicep thinking it was Pinnacle Mountain. His fitness sensei, David Bazzel knows his prodigy is just about ready to snatch the pebble from his hand!!
Roger was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas and attended Hot Springs High School where he developed a passion for the Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys. He and his wife Samantha have two sons Eric & Zac and a daughter, Meredith. It’s hard to believe with his boyish good looks but Roger is actually a grandfather and super proud to be one!
Who knows what’s next for Roger Scott? An Academy Award? Mr. Olympia title? A recording contract? Another #1 ratings book? The only thing we know for sure is that he is hotter than Tommy Smith in the kitchen cookin pork chops and we are thankful to have him in the Buzz family!
